Hotels

Curated art for hotels.

Aspect Global develops coherent art programmes for lobbies, lounges, restaurants and principal guest spaces, built for an opening, refurbishment or planned rotation.

Warm gestural abstract work in green, orange and yellow

The programme

One curatorial territory.

The programme begins with the building, brand and operational brief. A principal work sets the tone. Supporting works carry that tone into the rooms that matter, without turning the hotel into a repeated theme.

Existing works can be retained, repositioned or removed where the brief requires it. The scope is confirmed before any sourcing begins.

Typical settings

Arrival and lobby

A principal visual statement with enough scale to hold the architecture.

Lounges and bars

Supporting works with stronger intimacy and closer viewing distance.

Restaurants

A coherent register that survives changing light and service patterns.

Principal guest spaces

Selective placement where the art materially strengthens the room.

Designed around the live project

Built around the project.

Each route has different timing, access and procurement implications. The programme is structured around the actual delivery window, rather than forcing the building into a standard package.

Read the building

Review architecture, guest journey, existing art and brand constraints.

Set the territory

Define the curatorial register, hierarchy and rooms in scope.

Build and deliver

Source, frame and install in sequence with the wider project programme.

Document and manage

Complete condition records, handover and any agreed rotation plan.

What the client approves

Approve the direction, not a shopping list.

The collection is proposed as a whole. The hotel approves the curatorial territory, scope, principal works and delivery plan. Aspect Global retains responsibility for making the complete programme coherent.

Next step

Discuss the property.

A short conversation establishes whether the brief is ready for a site visit and an initial curatorial response.
